Answer: No, Traxlogix provides a complete turnkey solution including the TRX-600 tracking device, the phone network SIM card already installed in the product and unlimited access to TraxConnect web user interface. All you need is a computer with an internet connection, or a smartphone or a tablet and an asset to track!
Question: How much will access to TraxConnect cost?
Answer: Access to TraxConnect web user interface is offered Free of Charge!
Question: How much will phone network airtime cost?
Answer: Phone network airtime and GPRS communication are offered Free of Charge!, no hidden costs or fees!, no monthly or reccuring billing!.
Question: Do I have to purchase or install a software on my computer?
Answer: No, TraxConnect is a web based user interface, no extra software is required, simply login and control or configure your device.
Question: Is it difficult to install?
Answer: No, no tools are required, no wires must be connected, no external antenna must be installed, the TRX-600 is a battery self powered solution.
Question: I do not want my drivers to be aware of the TRX-600 in the car. Can I install it and track without them knowing?
Answer: The answer is "yes!" A good installation is virtually undetectable by the vehicle user. We recommend to our Clients to inform the drivers that the vehicle has a TRX-600 tracking device, the reaction has been positive if it’s benefits of having such a device installed are explained. It provides reduced operational cost, enhance security for the vehicle and driver and improve customer service.
Question: How long will the battery last?
Answer: Many factors may affect the lifetime of batteries, very hot or very cold climate would reduce battery life, the way you've configurated your TRX-600 device will also increase or decrease the battery life, for reference a year and a half expected battery life could be considered. In any case when battery is nearly discharged, TraxConnect will send you a notification that the battery pack must be replaced.
